Alpena Public Works Facility

Trinity designed this new 36,000 sf Public Works Facility for the City of Alpena in Michigan.  The program includes Vehicle Storage and Maintenance Bays, Storage and Repair Shop, Carpentry Shop, Pre-cast concrete Mezzanine Storage, Administrative Offices, Locker Rooms and Meeting / Classroom Space.

 

Structural systems and assemblies consist of steel, concrete and split-face exterior masonry with pre-stressed concrete mezzanines used at the storage area for fire resistance.

 

The building houses a variety of spaces to be highly functional and flexible for this  municipal client.  Trinity provided full architectural services on this project including a rendering of the building and site during design that allowed the client to see their facility in 3D prior to moving forward with the construction documents.
