Building features load-bearing split-face masonry exterior walls, in-floor heating,
snow-melt and (12) service bays. Precast concrete mezzanines serve as
employee lounge and parts storage.
The building is under construction, anticipate Spring 2006
occupancy.

New 33,000 s.f. single story Public Works building for the City
of Alpena. Design-build teaming with Meridian Contracting from
Alpena, MI, as the project's contractor. The building houses the
Department's offices, shop and
vehicle storage. The program included a 3,300 s.f. mezzanine level
adjacent to the shop bays. |
| The facility includes an emergency generator and benefits from modern
technology. Locker rooms and a training room were included in the
administrative wing. TCL Architect provided the architecture and
Meridian provided the contracting. Part of our service was the
architectural rendering shown below right. |

Semi-Truck
Wash & Lube Center
Gaylord, Michigan

New
18,000 s.f. semi-truck wash & lube features in-floor heating and
snow-melt systems, a 4,000 s.f. lube pit and a 92+ efficient reclaim water
system for the truck wash. The building is located adjacent the new
International Truck dealership and will compliment the facility.
The building is under construction, anticipate
spring 2006 occupancy. |

According
to the reclaim system engineer this is the world's largest truck wash of
it's kind. The 1,500 s.f. reclaim tank system provide enough treated
water to replenish approximately 93% of the wash water with water reclaimed
from previous washes.
TCL Architect is providing design and construction support services
on the
project.
