Some examples of recent government projects include.

Great Lakes Maritime Center, NOAA

Alpena, Michigan

 

20,000 s.f. conversion of the old Fletcher Coatings building in to the new Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, the new home for NOAA in the Great Lakes.  The building features 7,000 feet of state-of-the-art exhibit space, an auditorium, archaeological conservation lab and climate controlled artifact storage, 2,000 feet of innovative education space, research facilities and administrative space.  The project is being reviewed by the United States Green Building Council for LEED certification.

 

Courthouse Expansion

Atlanta, Michigan

 

Various options are being considered by Montmorency County Commissioners including this new 3-story, 12,600 s.f. administrative office addition.  All new systems and equipment will be high efficiency and selected for their quality.

 

When completed, all county offices will have the benefit of the latest technologies.

 

Fire Station No. 2

Owosso, Michigan

 

Pre-design services for design/build of the new Fire Station No. 2.  Project is currently in pre-construction phase with the Owner considering bids from design/build firms.  TCL Architect's design was incorporated into the Township's final design/build proposal request.

 

The facility features 2 drive through apparatus bays, locker & shower rooms, office and meeting space, as well as mezzanine space and a hose drying room.
