During the past 18
years Mr. Latuszek has produced over 100 residential plans of various sizes, styles, and
construction types. Although based in northern Michigan some of these projects
were built for clients in Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

An
example of prairie style with large overhangs and long roof lines. The
exterior wall envelope consists of Insulated Concrete Formed (ICF) construction,
custom wood windows and a combination of fiber-cement shakes,
siding and stone veneer.
The lower level and garage features in-floor heating with a split
heating / cooling system which includes air-conditioning on the main
level. A high efficiency boiler system provides energy for both
the HVAC and domestic hot water. |
| The Interior includes extensive wood
flooring, custom woodworking, stonework and ceramic tile. The stacked
fireplaces are decorated with custom log mantels and stonework.
The benefits of thermal mass and thermal wicking were designed into this
home and will help save the Owner on monthly utilities. TCL Architect provided design-bid-build services for the Owner on
this project. Acting as the Owner's construction manager allowed
us to follow this project closely for the Owner from design to completion. |

Sunroom
and Master Bath additions to one of Michaywe's most beautiful homes. This
project's unique features include translucent skylights, foamed-in-place
wall and ceiling insulation and timber roof construction. Materials matching
the existing exterior were selected.
The site allowed for a partial basement to be constructed with a
walk-out along one side. The existing interior column footings
were retrofitted to correct an under-mining condition. We also
poured a concrete equipment pad for the existing furnace and hot water
heater.

| The interior received a major facelift with new granite countertops, carpet
and paint throughout. The new bathroom included a custom tile spa tub and
shower.
TCL Architect provided design-bid-build services for the Owner on
this project. Acting as the Owner's construction manager allowed
us to follow this project closely for the Owner from design to
completion.
